Multiple importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, each adding their margin. The product didn't get better at any of those stops. It just got more expensive.
We decided to do it differently. MDL works directly with a dedicated manufacturing partner in China — the global epicentre of bentonite cat litter production. We set the formulation. We define the specifications. We verify the quality. And we import directly to our warehouse in Shah Alam.
The result is Sanking: a premium cat litter that competes with (and outperforms) brands costing significantly more, because the savings from our shorter supply chain go into the product — not into layers of middlemen.
